So i got the new Wavves album today. It has a sort of bratish hipster beach boysesque pop punk sound… not sure if that’s good , bad or makes any sense at that … what I do know is that its noisy, fun and reminds me of being young and care free again (or imagine that that was ever the case!)

So The Vaselines are back after… 13 years? something like that, a long time. Famously having some of their songs immortalised by Kurt Colbain, The Vaselines new material is surprisingly similar to their old stuff… which to be honest can only be a good thing.
